Jamaar Logan currently serves as a Regional Post-Secondary Transition Specialist for the Dekalb County Schools District (DCSD). He has over 15 years of experience leading college access programs in partnership with school districts. Prior to this role, Jamaar successfully implemented the Check and Connect mentoring program resulting in reduced suspension rates and improved student engagement for DCSD students. He served as the founding Executive Director of Youth Empowerment & Stability Inc, a non-profit organization focusing on positive youth development.  Jamaar had led programming efforts for various national non-profit organizations, including but not limited to Boys and Girls Club on America, Morehouse Alumni Association, Cares Mentoring Movement, Urban League, Community in Schools and Forever Family Inc.
