Annual STEM EnRICH Summer Academy
The STEM Campaign also includes our annual STEM EnRICH Summer Academy at Morehouse College. Youth have the opportunity to participate in a four week ultimate camp experience. Rising 7th grade through 12th grade males and females are eligible to attend.
The STEM EnRICH Summer Academy is a STEMulating college readiness program. Students learn career building STEM skills, become familiarized with various STEM careers, and interact with STEM professionals. Each day campers engage in a series of activities to apply the project based learning process to math, science, technology, engineering and math challenges.
In addition to a robust STEM curriculum, the students will participate in a variety of enrichment activities including chess, board games, and recreation. Weekly field trips to local STEM related museums and corporations provide opportunities for the students to gain exposure to a variety of STEM artifacts and careers. The STEM EnRICH Summer Academy offers fun, creative, inquiry based, and hands on learning experiences to equip the students with 21st Century skills for success.
